LED Tubes replaces Fluorescent tube

Growing up I used to know only Fluorescent tubes. To us there were the most amazing and classy lights. They have been around like “forever”.  Fluorescent tube is a low pressure mercury-vapour gas-discharge lamp that uses fluorescence to produce visible light. Well I am not writing an article about fluorescent tubes rather I want to talk about LED tubes. I guess you are all wondering why then are you talking about them or even defining them? Well that's a good question. I want to use a technique of comparison enabling you to make an informed decisions when next you want to buy your lighting.
To me the adoption of LED tube technology falls into three categories: trust, technology, and cost. Do people trust this new technology over and above the one they are used to in this case fluorescent tubes? Well LED tubes are an excellent and energy-efficient replacement for conventional fluorescent tubes. LED’s can last as long as 50,000 to 100,000 hours, which is a full 3 to 6 years longer than fluorescent and neon. Not only do they outlast other bulbs, but because they don’t have any gases that can leak out and cause dimness, they also maintain a better level of brightness throughout their lifespans.

LED tube lights are green and eco-friendly lighting fixtures without any hazardous materials such as mercury and lead. They will not cause any environment pollutions when they are disposed. With Fluorescent, disposal has to be arranged through a registered waste carrier so switching to LED avoids the cost and time implications required for compliant disposal – and helps to protect the environment from further toxic waste.
The fact that LED tubes last longer than the fluorescent means that the cost is also less. You don’t have to constantly change it thereby cutting the cost of replacing. LEDs consume far less power than fluorescent tubes. While fluorescents are technically energy saving light sources compared to incandescent bulbs, when contrasted with LEDs, there is no contest. LEDs use less electricity, which is better for the environment and your pocket.

After knowing about LED tubes I decided to change as well.  It is always good to move with technology, you don’t get left behind. We live in a changing world and also with lighting things are changing. Let’s embrace it and make our lives better than before. LED Corn Lights

There are thousands of different kinds of light bulbs on the market, and selecting which one is the best for you can be difficult. I am sure you don’t want to buy the wrong product.  Then again there is the price factor; times are hard so we try by all means to save. After all a bulb is just a bulb right? Well that is wrong; a bulb is not just bulb. Each bulb is different and has different characteristics from the other. Today we are going to be talking about LED Corn Lights. We want to explore what makes them different from the other bulbs and also the benefits of using them over and above other bulbs. Walk with me as we explore this issue and my aim is for you to be informed so that you make informed decisions when it comes to buying a bulb. Remember something might be cheap now but expensive in the long run and also the vice versa is true.

What is an LED Corn light? Well this is type of lighting fixture that takes advantage of light-emitting diode technology. LED corn bulb is made of many led chips that are similar to corn ear and the appearance of the corn bulb is round. These bulbs resemble a corncob, hence their name.
Up front, it may seem like LED corn lights are expensive but they have a long lifespan and much lower energy use, so they cost much less in the long run. They are generally more expensive than regular lighting; they last much longer than standard light bulbs. As I said before something might be cheap now but expensive in the long run and also the vice versa is true. They are ideal for indoor and outdoor use and are available in warm white and pure white giving options to choose from.  This is what the LED corn light offers you:
·         Long life. 50,000 hours of life, without dimming or losing efficiency. Average life span of these lights is 30,000 hours which equates to three years and four months.
·         Low energy use. These bulbs use only 20%-25% of the energy that traditional bulbs do.
·         Environmentally-friendly. They contain no mercury, so disposal doesn’t harm the earth, unlike fluorescent bulbs. They also don’t have harmful emissions or gases, a completely “green” option.
·         Reduce energy bill. At least a 20% reduction and ROI of 2 years is guaranteed.
·         Light emitted from LED light bulbs does not cause damage to skin or eyes.

LED corn light bulbs can be used in table lamps, floor lamps and wall sconces. Their extreme brightness makes them ideal for use where you want to be able to see things clearly. They are also recyclable which means when it’s time to change them you just drop them off to be recycled. LED corn lights give a 360 degree light.  They can replace incandescent bulbs or energy savers.

LED FLOODLIGHTS

Flood lights are the most popular type of lights that are used outdoors and are used to illuminate large areas. Flood lights are great outdoor lighting source and come in all sorts of sizes, from few watts to couple hundred watts. They are also used to illuminate dark areas around the house at night for comfort and security purposes.

Some people use them to illuminate doors at night and in such cases flood lights with motion sensor
are used. Flood lights are also used in much larger areas. Some of these areas are:
•             Stadiums
•             Sports fields
•             Streets
•             Driveways
•             Parking lots
•             Indoor and outdoor arenas
•             Warehouses
LED Floodlights replace the old halogen, metal halide, mercury vapor and sodium lamps.  They consume far less energy and have a much longer lifespan. LED Floodlights meet a variety of lighting needs across three different applications; Architectural, Area Lighting and Signage.
LED Flood lights are durable, Eco and energy friendly, cheaper in the sense that you don’t have to constantly change them as they are not affected by weather and temperature changes. LED flood lights are resistant to temperature fluctuations and environmental conditions. Unlike some other lights, LEDs remain stable and functional even in freezing conditions. This makes them all the more ideal for cold warehouses and storage areas.

Let’s talk about Waterproof LED modules and the RGB Floodlights:

Waterproof LED Modules are small, versatile and easy to install. They are mainly used for signs and effect lighting. Downlights, Energy Efficient Bulbs

Dealing with the LED Lighting has been an eye opener. When someone is used the traditional way of doing things it so difficult for them to embrace something new, in this case LED lighting . We believe the tried and tasted is better than the new. We I think it’s time to change that perception. We have a wide range of LED Downlights for sale. LED Downlights are not so new in the market, they have been around for a while so yes they have been tasted and tried. In the previous article we spoke about cutting cost, yes they do cut cost. We cannot talk about them without mentioning that. That is first thing that caught my attention and I believe it will catch yours too.

There is variety of downlights that we have to offer. Downlights are available in warm white, pure white and natural white and also in different wattage. They are also available in dimmable. LED downlights are by far the most commonly used in the LED range. This is because of their great energy saving characteristics and long lifespan of +/- 40000 hours as opposed to its halogen counterpart which has a lifespan of +/- 3000 hours.

One has to be careful as to which downlights to buy, as most LED downlights on the market today have a very narrow beam angle of 30 - 45 degrees. Limelight LED downlights have a beam angle of 120 degrees and use the highest lumen Epistar LED's. Not to say that narrow beam angles are always a bad choice, but if you are looking to light up the average room or passage, you will find that they provide insufficient light. Narrow beam angle downlights should ideally be used in cabinets, on walls as feature lights, and for high ceilings as the beam is more focussed and opens up as it reaches the floor. Limelight SMD LED downlights are preferred by at least 95% of people because of the quality of the light, and the product on the whole.

Limelight LED Lighting

With the recent electricity problem experienced in South Africa, we introduce to you Limelight LED Lighting: the most recent technology in terms of energy efficient lighting. LED lighting was once relegated to basketball scoreboards, cellphone consoles, traffic lights and colored Christmas lights but as a result of rapid developments in the technology, it is now poised to become common on streets and in buildings, as well as in homes and offices. Everyone is going green and Limelight LED Lights allows you to go green and save money. Installation of LEDs leads to less pollution and a lower carbon footprint. LEDs are good for the environment and good for business. These lights will save you in excess of 90% on your lighting bill. I know everyone wants to save because things are hard and the economy is not so great. Am sure you will agree with here.
The Limelight LED Lights have a very long life span; LED's and their drivers can last for many years.  For example, Limelight LED downlight has a 40000 hour lifespan - at an average use of 4 hours per day, this downlight can last you up to 27 years. Another way of saving, you don’t have to buy bulbs to replace them frequently. Here are some of the advantages of LED Lights over others:
·         LEDs come to full brightness without need for a warm-up time; the life of fluorescent lighting is also reduced by frequent switching on and of
·         Various light colours - they are available in warm white (3000K), pure white (6000K) and natural white (4500K) unlike some other technologies
·         Higher Lumen Output - they are sometimes brighter (depending on wattage, LED brand, LED grade and LED driver)
·         LED's generally operate at lower temperatures compared to other types of lighting
·         Ideal to use with batteries and solar panels due to their low current draw
·         No hazardous substances - Unlike fluorescent lighting or CFL's (compact fluorescent lights), they do not contain any mercury or lead

·         Not susceptible to breakage - even if they fall, the light source or LED does not easily break.  Dropping an incandescent bulb will almost definitely cause it to stop working
