Downlights, Energy Efficient Bulbs

Dealing with the LED Lighting has been an eye opener. When someone is used the traditional way of doing things it so difficult for them to embrace something new, in this case LED lighting . We believe the tried and tasted is better than the new. We I think it’s time to change that perception. We have a wide range of LED Downlights for sale. LED Downlights are not so new in the market, they have been around for a while so yes they have been tasted and tried. In the previous article we spoke about cutting cost, yes they do cut cost. We cannot talk about them without mentioning that. That is first thing that caught my attention and I believe it will catch yours too.

There is variety of downlights that we have to offer. Downlights are available in warm white, pure white and natural white and also in different wattage. They are also available in dimmable. LED downlights are by far the most commonly used in the LED range. This is because of their great energy saving characteristics and long lifespan of +/- 40000 hours as opposed to its halogen counterpart which has a lifespan of +/- 3000 hours.

One has to be careful as to which downlights to buy, as most LED downlights on the market today have a very narrow beam angle of 30 - 45 degrees. Limelight LED downlights have a beam angle of 120 degrees and use the highest lumen Epistar LED's. Not to say that narrow beam angles are always a bad choice, but if you are looking to light up the average room or passage, you will find that they provide insufficient light. Narrow beam angle downlights should ideally be used in cabinets, on walls as feature lights, and for high ceilings as the beam is more focussed and opens up as it reaches the floor. Limelight SMD LED downlights are preferred by at least 95% of people because of the quality of the light, and the product on the whole.
